Annie Hansen is the author of five novels in the cozy mystery genre: one standalone mystery, Get a Grip (coming in 2023), as well as four books in her Kelly Clark Mystery Series.

For over 20 years, Annie has been managing Hansen Search Group, a search firm she co-founded with her husband and business partner, Brent Hansen, in 2001. Hansen Search Group focuses on staffing high-level positions for clients throughout the United States in various industries including healthcare, IT, manufacturing, engineering and financial services. 

Annie’s first mystery, Give Me Chocolate, kicked off her Chicago suburban based Kelly Clark Mystery Series set in the tri-cities of Batavia, Geneva, and St. Charles, IL. Annie has been recognized as a Finalist and Semi-Finalist in the state-wide, Soon to be Famous Illinois Author Project, run by librarians choosing their favorite books throughout the state. 

Annie is an avid reader and traveler. She enjoys her time with her local book club, Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons in Batavia. Many of her ideas are dreamed up while running along the Fox River with her running club, Batavia Runner Gang.
